We may not think of eating smart as a way of preventing disease. But this is exactly the case.
For example, Japanese culture has a very low incidence of cancer while they live in their home country. But when they come to our country and begin to live our fast food lifestyle they develop the same rate of cancer that we do in the United States.
The message is this: We have to be careful about what we put into our bodies. The way that we eat will drastically affect our health in the future as well as how we feel on a daily basis.
